Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards and cheques. Please be aware that we will need to wait for your cheque to clear before we can send out your order. For those orders above £350 you can also pay via our finance partner Dividebuy.

How safe is it to give my credit card details online?

Here at The Great Furniture Trading Company, we use secure servers Sagepay and Paypal for all credit and debit card payments.

We also have a 3D secure checkout, so all customers will be required to enter their private password when making a card payment. We will only send out the order if this password is entered correctly, offering you an extra level of security and added peace of mind when paying for your furniture.

What is the order process?

Simply browse our website and add your desired furniture to your shopping basket. These items can always be removed later if you find another product which you prefer. When you have finished shopping, you can proceed to the checkout and purchase your items via our secure server.

If you would prefer to place your order over the phone, you can call our friendly Sales team on 0333 247 0224. Our Sales team can also assist you if you would like to pay for your order via cheque.

Can you send me a manufacturer's brochure?

Unfortunately, we do not have a brochure that we can send you. However, our website features product details as well as images of all of our furniture, so you should be able to find all of the information that you need. If you do find that you still have some questions, or require further information about any of our products, you can contact our knowledgeable Sales team who will be happy to help you.

Do The Great Furniture Trading Company's prices include VAT?

Yes, all of our prices include VAT. The advertised price is what you will pay, with the addition of delivery charges where applicable.

What are The Great Furniture Trading Company’s delivery charges?

The Great Furniture Trading Company offers a premier, two-man delivery service as standard, and your furniture will be placed in a room of your choice.

We are pleased to offer our customers free delivery on all orders over £350 anywhere within mainland Britain, except for Scottish postcodes beginning with AB, IV, PA, PH, KY, DD, HS, TD and KW as these are a little harder for our delivery team to get to. For these postcodes there will be an additional charge, which we will confirm prior to your order confirmation.

For orders of £350 and under there will be a small delivery charge of £35, and there may also be an additional cost for the Scottish postcodes mentioned above, of course we will let you know if this applies to you.

What happens if I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please try to do so at least 48 hours before your furniture is delivered. If you would like to cancel your order less than 48 hours before your scheduled delivery, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover the associated costs.

We can always put your order on hold until a more convenient time if your circumstances have changed, such as a delay in moving house. If you find yourself in a situation that means you need to delay your order, you can call our Sales team who will be happy to go through your options with you.

How do your prices compare to others?

We believe that our prices cannot be beaten by high street stores or other online outlets, and that all of our products offer our customers fantastic value for money. Please see our Price Promise for more details.

When will you despatch my order?

We want to ensure that you get your furniture quickly, so that you can start enjoying it as soon as possible. If the furniture of your choice is not available for Next Day or Day of Choice delivery, the product page will state the approximate lead time so that you know when we expect the product to come back into stock. Once the furniture is in stock, we usually despatch this within 3 working days.

Do you have an after sales service?

We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your new furniture, and your shopping experience with us. What happens to my personal details?

What is your returns policy?

We hope that you will be delighted with your new furniture, but if it is not quite right for you, items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. For full details please see our Terms and Conditions.

We want you to feel confident that your furniture will last for many years, which is why we offer a 1 year manufacturer’s guarantee against materials and workmanship on all of our products.
