In fact, the risk of Credit /Debit card fraud is now higher when using your card in a garage or restaurant. We are so confident of our security that we will guarantee any costs that your credit card company hold you responsible for if your card is used fraudulently as a result of shopping with The Great Furniture Trading Company using our secure transaction system.

How can I place an order?

You can place furniture orders over the internet, by fax, by post or phone.

What is the order process?

Simply browse our on line catalogue and click on "add" to any items you wish to buy, these items can be removed later if you wish. When you have finished shopping click on the "checkout" button which takes you to the order page. Enter your details and credit card information and send them to us via our secure server. If preferred you can also print the order form and send it to us by fax or post or telephone us on  0845 259 2150  and place the order over the phone. You will be contacted within 2 working days to confirm the order and be advised of an anticipated delivery date.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards via our secure server and can accept cheques with orders via the post.

What are The Great Furniture Trading Company’s delivery charges?

The Great Furniture Trading Company offers a premier , two man delivery service as standard on all items of furniture that are not able to be delivered by overnight courier. All orders of below £350 will have a delivery charge of £35. All orders above £350 for delivery to addresses within mainland GB are delivered free of charge, except to AB, DD, FK, PH, KY, PA, IV, AB and KW postcodes where there will be a small additional charge which will be advised to you. If you wish to know what that is before you place the order then please call or e-mail us.

What happens if I cancel my order?

For furniture items we hold in stock, if you cancel your order prior to it being despatched you will not incur any charges and a full refund will be applicable. If your order has already been despatched then you may be charged for delivery. For items that have been specially ordered or made a cancellation fee may be charged.

How do your prices compare to others?

When will you despatch my order?

The time it takes for a piece of furniture to come in to stock can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Once we receive an item into our warehouse it is quality checked and re-packaged for onward transportation and usually despatched within 3 working days.

When will my goods arrive?

Most of our smaller items can be sent via a courier and can take up to 48 hrs for delivery once despatched. Some of our very large furniture will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 10 working days. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date.
